01 / Our olive oil
Our roots lie between Torremaggiore, San Paolo di Civitate and San Severo. Peranzana olives become a single-variety extra virgin olive oil, cold-extracted and filtered to preserve its aromas and character.
Freshly cut grass, tomato and aromatic herbs.
Fresh almond, gentle bitterness and a lively peppery finish.

03 / Where olive oil meets craft
For your table.
To remember.
Our Peranzana olive oil, held in handmade ceramic. A taste of Puglia, with something beautiful to keep.
Our Peranzana meets the pumo: a ceramic flower bud from Apulian tradition, symbolising prosperity and good wishes. Handmade to use, give and keep.
Ceramics take time, patience and care.
That is what makes each Pumolio® one of a kind.
In the workshop · Torremaggiore
In the workshop, clay becomes a pumo. Surfaces, markings and colours make each piece different: something to use, give and keep. Pumolio ceramics® are made by master potter Giancarlo de Meo in Torremaggiore.
A look at the workbench.
A surface, a curve, a detail: each piece carries traces of the workshop.
Time and care, from workbench to kiln.
Pumi on the workbench, each with its own colours and markings.
04 / Your idea, our Puglia
An occasion to remember. A brand with a story. We shape your gift around what matters to you.

At work, from grove to mill.05 / A family story
Piglia la Puglia began with Antonio Villani returning to his roots. In 2024 he founded the business around the family olive groves between Torremaggiore and San Paolo di Civitate, in Daunia, the historic home of Peranzana.
A thousand sixty-year-old trees across six hectares, tended with reduced tillage and targeted crop protection. The olives are harvested by hand with mechanical aids and milled within three hours to preserve freshness, aromas and the oil’s phenolic structure.
That is how Pumolio began®, a label celebrating the pumo, Puglia’s symbol of prosperity: an extra virgin olive oil with a clear, distinctive profile that expresses our Peranzana.
Rooted in memory, identity and a vision for the future, we champion Peranzana among the quality olive oils of Daunia and Italy.
We harvest by hand with mechanical aids at veraison, when the olives begin to change colour. The timing depends on the variety and the condition of the fruit.
We favour a slightly early harvest, even at the expense of yield, to preserve polyphenols and the oil’s pleasing bitter and peppery notes.

To the mill within hours of picking. Cold-extracted to preserve the aromas.
After harvesting, enzymatic and microbial processes can affect olive quality. Shortening the wait before milling helps limit defects and increases in free acidity.
We always filter our Pumolio® to reduce water and suspended particles. These can settle at the bottom, forming sediment in which fermentation and unwanted substances can develop.
Then come the bottle, the label and the ceramic. Our name or yours, brought together here in Torremaggiore.
